One of the biggest changes in the tour format is that the member is responsible for their spot in each event; even though they can pay cash per event they are still responsible for the entry fee and green fee even if they cannot make it. They can find a substitute or hope that the tour has developed a waiting list from players wanting to play but not wanting to become a member due to scheduling conflicts.
The tour will host 2 mandatory events per month with $120 entry fees with player paid green fees on top of that ($35 average). If the tour has 20 members for the upcoming event the other members can rest assured that $2000 will be in the purse whether the other members play or not. The tour will have credit cards for all members and if someone fails to show the tour will automatically charge the credit card on file and therefore the purse is guaranteed to match the number of members that have joined the tour to date.
The tour will pay 30% of each field and will pay 5 times the entry fee in first place. Payouts will look like this with 1st $600, 2nd $500, 3rd $400, 4th $250, 5th $130 & 6th $120. Feel free to call us or just show up at our mandatory players meeting on October 18th.
